Believing In Myself More
Paige came in for her boudoir session in our London studio in July 2020, a few weeks after the first lockdown in the UK ended.
It was brilliant having Paige in the studio and we were absolutely blown away by her outfit choices which is a result of having a mother-in-law that worked in fashion.
It was a pleasure working with Paige on what she calls an “uplifting experience.” Here’s her experience in her own words below:
It has taken me over two weeks to write this as I tried to figure out how to put my experience into words.
Firstly I’d like to say thank you to everyone (in the women’s only Facebook group) who said lovely things about my shoot on the day. Coming home and reading all the wonderful things you said really added to the positivity I left with.
I knew that a photoshoot like this would perk up my mood and make me feel good, but I had no idea how far-reaching those feelings would go!
Aside from the obvious feeling better about my body and my appearance, Lize and Renée (the MUA) were so uplifting to be around that I’m still walking on the cloud I left on.
Since the photo shoot, I’ve dressed in ways that I would have been too shy to do before, and have felt empowered and beautiful in my skin for the first time in what feels like forever!
I didn’t feel “body ready” for the shoot after putting on weight recently but seeing the raw images of how I looked completely changed how I see myself. Seeing how Lize captured me was fascinating as it showed a side of me that I’ve never seen.
I now believe in myself more than I ever have, and it almost sounds silly to attribute that to a photoshoot but that’s exactly what happened!
I can’t recommend having a boudoir shoot with Lize enough! You won’t regret a single moment and it might just change your life!
